Herdade dos Pegos Claros
Founded in 1920, Herdade de Pegos Claros stands out for producing high quality wines through traditional methods, only from old “Castelão” vineyards.
Herdade do Portocarro
Located in the municipality of Alcácer do Sal, Herdade de Portocarro is recognised for producing unique wines in limited, exclusive quantities.
Created in 1964, SIVIPA is nowadays a company with a great reputation in the production of wines and moscateis, having won numerous national and international awards.
Venâncio Costa Lima
Venâncio da Costa Lima is one of the oldest wineries in the Palmela region, beginning in 1914. As a family business, this winery is already in its fourth generation.
Filipe Palhoça Vinhos
Filipe Palhoça Vinhos is a family business dedicated to viticulture and wine production in the Setúbal Peninsula for over 50 years. Founded in 1950 by Filipe Jorge Palhoça, its roots go back to a small cellar belonging to his father, João Loureiro Palhoça.
Casa Agrícola Horácio Simões
Casa Agrícola Horácio Simões, founded by José Carvalho Simões, is a secular house in the wine sector. Since 1910, has gained stability, reliability and a sense of professionalism in its activity, ensuring for three generations a place of excellence in the market.
Established in 1926 by Xavier Santana, the company is today managed by his successors, producing wines of national and international regard, such as Casta Rica, Terras da Vinha, Terras da Fonte, and Xavier Santana, the latter from Moscatel de Setúbal wines.
José Maria da Fonseca
Founded in 1934, it is the oldest Portuguese producer of table wines and Moscatel de Setúbal, to this day managed by the same family.
Herdade da Arcebispa
Founded in 2006 by António Manuel Valadas Palhavã and António Canivete Amante, Arcebispa owns 1600 hectares in Castelo de Arez, Alcácer do Sal. In addition to rice, forest, montado and livestock, it also bets on wine production.
Fernão Pó Winery
The Fernão Pó Winery is a family business from Fernando Pó, Palmela, which is originated from the merge of the Freitas & Palhoça families. Linked to viticulture and wine production for generations, they bring together two branches of Fernando Pó's wine history.
Malo Wines has 100ha of vineyards, spread over two properties located in Setúbal Peninsula - Quinta de Catralvos, in Azeitão and Monte da Charca, in Pegões.
DFJ Vinhos was born in 1998, owns 250ha of vineyards, 200 under certified sustainable agriculture production. Mr. José Neiva Correia was the owner and the chief winemaker producing wines since the harvest of 1974.
Monte da Carochinha
Monte da Carochinha is located on the coastal slope of Serra do Cercal, overlooking the Southwest Alentejo Natural Park and Costa Vicentina. With a view over the sea of Porto Covo, it benefits from a strong Atlantic influence combined with a hill microclimate, where the poor schist soils, surrounded by forest and rockrose, clearly mark the profile of the wines created here.
The first Damasceno wines were born in 2003, when the first harvest took place. Since then, the company has constantly invested in quality, winning national and international awards.
Quinta do Piloto
Quinta do Piloto is the heir of a four-generation winegrowing tradition in the Cardoso family, in Palmela. The wines are elegant, are exponents of indigenous varietals and small quantities of varietals chosen for their excellence.
Bacalhôa Vinhos de Portugal, S.A. is one of the largest wineries in Portugal, and has developed over the years a wide range of wines that have earned a solid reputation and preference for national and international consumers.
Adega de Palmela
A cooperative established in 1955, currently bringing together the production of 300 associates. It is responsible for the vinification of grapes produced by its members, as well as marketing their brands.
Casa Agrícola Assis Lobo
Established in 2002, winemaking is a part of the Assis Lobo family history, whose vineyards are located in the region of São o Lau, Fonte de Barreira, Poceirão and Fernando Pó, in Palmela.
Herdade de Gâmbia
Herdade de Gâmbia is a family-owned business that has been engaged with agro-forestry and livestock activities since its acquisition by Dr. Francisco de Paula Borba in August 1917. Throughout all these years, it has developed various agricultural and livestock activities, being the forest the one that deserved more attention, given the characteristics of its framing from the point of view of location, soil and climate.
António Saramago Vinhos
Founded in 2002, António Saramago Vinhos is born from an old dream of winemaker António José Ribeiro Saramago to produce his own wines. It is committed to produce quality wines at a fair price.

A family company, Casa Ermelinda de Freitas has relied on the quality of vineyards and wines since the first generation.

Nowadays, Adega de Pegões is a modern and competitive winery, recognized nationally and internationally, having been distinguished in 2014 as the 4th best wine company in Portugal and 37th in the world by the “World Association of Wine and Liquor Journalists and Writers”.

Produced by a family business, Brejinho da Costa wines are the result of the great care placed in an activity where every detail is important. In addition to wine production, landscape protection and respect for the environment are the keys to a viticulture that is increasingly a factor of tourist attraction as well as a cultural practice.
Casa Agrícola Ruano Pinto
Casa Agrícola Ruano Pinto currently produces table wines (White and Rosé), Setúbal Peninsula regional wines, DO Palmela and DO Palmela Reserva.
Herdade de Espirra
The current owner of Herdade de Espirra, Portucel, acquired the property in 1985, having restructured the existing vineyard and restored the social facilities, including the winery itself, thus enabling the production of wine to be undertaken with great rigor and professionalism.
ASL Tomé began its wine production in mid-1940’s, being Quinta da Cascalheira under the care of the Américo de Sousa Lopes family for five generations.
Herdade da Barrosinha
Very close to the Alentejo coast and Comporta, Carvalhal and Tróia, the Herdade da Barrosinha invites you to taste the thousand and one corners and secrets of nature. In an environment of great tranquility, everyone can enjoy unique experiences, between cultivating palates, well rehearsed in the hands of curators and masters.
Herdade Canal Caveira
It is in the Alentejo coast, at the confluence of two major Portuguese wine regions, Setúbal Peninsula and Alentejo, that we find the Herdade Canal Caveira.
Right next to the Grândola Mountain, its vineyards receive the maritime influence of the Vicentina Coast, land of a unique and original microclimate.
Filipe Cardoso, from Quinta do Piloto, and Luís Simões, from Casa Horácio Simões, joined forces with José Nuno Caninhas, oenologist from Quinta do Piloto. The idea was being built for some time until, with 2015 wines, it was realized.
Adega Camolas is a family-owned company, next to Arrábida Natural Park, deeply linked to vineyard and wine since the 70's. The grapes are from its own vineyards scattered throughout the noble areas of Palmela, as well as the purchase of grapes from small winegrowers in the region.
Herdade do Cebolal
Herdade do Cebolal was born in 2008 and is located on the Alentejo coast, 17 km away from Santiago do Cacém and at the southern end of the demarcated region of the Setúbal Peninsula.
