Herdade dos Pegos Claros
Founded in 1920, Herdade de Pegos Claros produces wines through manual traditional harvesting methods, stepped on by foot, fermentation in an open winepress and oak-matured. Its vines are exclusively old vines from the “Castelão” varietal, and have not been irrigated in over 90 years. The result is high quality wine, the company’s focus.
