Add salt to the water and ice in your frapé (ice bucket) and you will be able to cool the wine bottle faster. The salt, in contact with water, goes into dissolution process, that is, an endothermic process, which requires energy to materialize. Salt pulls the heat from the ice stones, which get even colder.

White wine neutralizes red wine and allows stains to be more easily washed off. It will only work if the stain is still wet. Do not rub, but sponge with a clean and absorbent material (towel, sponge …).

In general, wine bottles should be stored horizontally. In this position, the cork is always in contact with the wine, keeping it moist and intact. This inhibits the entry of oxygen, an element to avoid, as it will extend the wine’s life. Oxidation quickly leads to color, aroma and taste damage.
