Adega de Palmela
A cooperative established in 1955, it began its activities in 1958, currently bringing together the production of 300 associates. It is responsible for the vinification of grapes produced by its members, mostly on the sandy plains that make up a large part of the Municipality of Palmela. It produces the brands Pedras Negras, Vale dos Barris, Adega de Palmela, Adega de Palmela (DO Muscatel Fortified Wine) and Palma (aged wine spirit).
