Herdade de Gâmbia
Herdade de Gâmbia is a family-owned business that has been engaged with agro-forestry and livestock activities since its acquisition by Dr. Francisco de Paula Borba in August 1917. Throughout all these years, it has developed various agricultural and livestock activities, being the forest the one that deserved more attention, given the characteristics of its framing from the point of view of location, soil and climate. Herdade de Gâmbia is located about 9 km from Setúbal, and develops along the right bank of Ribeira da Marateca with an area of about 600 hectares, integrated entirely in the Sado Estuary Nature Reserve.
